Once you are happy with the opening sizes, we'll manufacture to them. We can only accept the finished frame size you'll require, second guessing brick sizes doesn't work.

Selecting any product can be difficult, sash windows are no different.
You need value for money, not to be confused with the cheapest product.

Buying the cheapest is easy, just keep chipping away with the supplier, eventually they'll do it rather than risking loosing the work altogether. Trouble is that 'll lead to more trouble.

Often these "cheapest products" fail to perform as expectations, bars start to fall off, and questionable service levels erode any "savings"... familiar story.

Suppliers in these situations, being forced down on price often cut corners, leave out vital components like steel reinforcement, use cheaper balances, you may not be unhappy at first but ask your purchaser in 6 months when product starts failing, its YOUR reputation that's on the line, as a respected developer you cannot afford bad press which is exactly what purchasers of new properties are now doing, when things go wrong.

And think for a minute, choosing the more expensive range can actually help you obtain better yields, achieving a higher price or moving properties quicker.
