As you will see from the site, we specialise in sash windows. The Oxford English dictionary defines "specialist" as, "one that produces something to the exclusion of all other", that's us! We only make sash windows, so when claims are made from so called specialists, first ask the question,"Is it all they make?"
We understand that as an installer its your reputation that's on the line, its your name that's at risk if we fail to provide a quality product or miss the delivery date, that's why we'll guarantee our deliveries, any thing we miss from the delivery we'll send overnight, and supply it FOC (or raise a credit).
That way we share your risk, we don't deserve to get paid if we fail to supply what you ordered.
Don't forget, we don't fit anything ourselves so its in our interests to help you get the work, that's why we'll help with samples for your showroom, brochures etc but also something called
Twin Packs.
They're our way of helping communicate the choices you can offer to your customer. Just ask our sales office and we'll supply you with a duplicate quote, for you to submit to your customer. Other installers tell us it doubles their conversion rates, because they feel more confident about selling sash windows, and their customer is impressed too!
We also understand you need to make a profit, installing replacement windows. In a price sensitive market that's often difficult, we've produced a
Business Development Guide explaining how you can maximize your chances of succeeding selling sash windows, however the temptation is to buy the cheapest product.
Three problems with that:-
- Most owners of properties having (or had) sash windows want to retain the character of their homes; they've invested thousands in their homes and really don't want that investment devalued.
- Offering cheap casements doesn't comply with the new building regs, or FENSA guidelines.
- Buying the cheapest sash window probably means you'll be disappointed. Although cheapest looks profitable, all too often it costs more than the initial savings. Service calls rapidly erode any savings, and the damage to your business immeasurable.
So what's wrong with your casement suppliers sash window….well firstly, they've probably not made it themselves, most buy them in, so you'll end up paying an additional margin, and there's that extra layer of doubt to make errors.
Secondly, even if they make sash windows and you trust their ability to fabricate casements, there's no guarantee their sash windows will be fit for purpose, or built to last. They'll probably only offer standard options nothing bespoke or specialized.
Check us out in the trade magazines, we've been exhibiting at Glassex for the past 15 years, Interbuild since 1995, we won the industry awards last year for Customer Care and Energy Efficiency, and were runners up with Fabricator of the year.
We'll deliver your windows with care, on our own vehicles, and in accordance with your instructions. We'll do everything we can to help you win the order, and be there if things don't go quiet according to plan.
