The
GGF is the glass industry's largest trade association, and we're proud to be a member, your deposits are safe as they run their own deposit indemnity insurance scheme, you can be assured of our pedigree, and you'll have recourse to an arbitration service if in the unlikely event you're unhappy with our service.
Whilst by law
FENSA has to be open to every new company, the
GGF doesn't, or at least it only accepts companies like masterframe, who are financially secure, because the GGF and its members protect consumers against the failure of any single member company.
In other words you'll have more protection against a company going bust, a greater chance of recovering deposits or having the work completed, using a GGF member company.
Vetting
All
GGF members are vetted. To ensure members deliver the quality of service, the GGF visit the company's premises, checks three year's accounts and takes up trade references.
A Code of Good Practice & Glazing Manual
All GGF members work to "A Code of Good Practice" and to the "Technical Standards" as laid out in the Federation's Glazing Manual, in addition to the British Standards and Codes of Practice.
Deposit Indemnity Scheme
All Deposits placed with GGF members are protected by an indemnity scheme, this safeguards deposits up to £3,000 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is lower.
Free Conciliation Service
The
GGF also provides a free conciliation service, should you not see eye to eye with a member company, the GGF will offer a mediation service to help you find an agreeable solution.
