Gardinia Windows puts the sash back into conservation area

As ‘replacing the replacements’ becomes even more of an issue, installers need to think about diversifying. According to Gardinia Windows (Kirklees) Ltd, sash windows are where the growth is. There was a time when Gardinia Windows didn’t install PVC-U sash windows but everything changed when a customer specifically requested them. After considering the available options, Gardinia opted for Masterframe’s Bygone Collection and haven’t looked back.
Recalling the decision, Allan Hinchliffe, Gardinia’s General Manager says: “In our opinion, Masterframe’s sashes really are the most authentic and best detailed you can get. Sash windows are definitely a growth market. We want to be in it and we’re determined to provide our customers with the best. Masterframe is unique because it is a dedicated vertical slider manufacturer. It’s great being one of Masterframe’s Bygone Preferred Installers too - the scheme, which includes an effective lead generation service, gives extra credibility to their already superb products.”
Gardinia tackles a full range of projects. A recent contract involved the replacement of more than 20 windows in a beautiful two-storey cottage in a local conservation area. Allan Hinchliffe again: “The original timber sashes had been replaced with casements. It looked dreadful. Fortunately, the client wouldn’t settle for less than the best. Masterframe’s Bygone Collection fitted the bill perfectly - restoring the cottage to its former glory with the added bonus of minimal maintenance.”
