The Challenge Is On for 2005

Following a highly energetic and successful first appearance at Glassex 2004, the Glassex Challenge - which seeks to expose the most talented and committed window, door and conservatory installers in the UK - will return at Glassex 2005

One of the 2004 event's most popular feature areas, the Challenge saw teams from all over the country install a door, a flat window, a bay window and a conservatory roof. The format will remain similar for 2005, with teams to be judged once again on speed, finish and health and safety issues by an independent panel of experts from The Essential Support Team (TEST). Prizes will be awarded each day to the team that achieves the best combined score across each installation.

Such was the appeal of the Challenge last year that it has already attracted high profile sponsorship for Glassex 2005. This year's sponsors are Total Conservatory Roof Systems and DeWalt- both of whom sponsored the inaugural Challenge last year - the Glass Qualifications Authority (GQA) and fabricator Masterframe Windows Ltd.
