Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country

Sarah Beeny is a renowned property expert, TV Presenter, writer and business woman. Recently Sarah and her family featured in a Channel 4 series called Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country where we watched the family have many wonderful new experiences whilst building their dream home

A new start

The story began when Sarah received a recommendation and decided to visit the Bygone website to find out more about the Bygone Collection, a range of true to original, low maintenance timber alternative windows.

Sarah was inspired by what she saw, followed up with an e-mail and after speaking to John Samuels, the Bygone Manager, ordered a sample of the top of the range Bygone Symphony sash window in Pebble Grey.

Timber Alternative Windows

When the sample arrived Sarah said that “The quality of the windows had impressed even her” and chose Manufacturer’s Masterframe as her preferred sash window supplier for her dream home project.

Sarah said that Bygone Symphony Sash Windows were “The closest match to original timber windows she has ever seen”.

Sash Window Aesthetics

Originally when the plans had been drawn up for the house, timber sash windows were the preferred option but once Sarah had seen the Symphony sash windows up close and understood they come with all the advantages of a modern low maintenance window, she said that they were “The closest match to original timber windows she has ever seen”.

You can watch property expert Sarah Beeny and her family swap London life for a new start on a 220-acre, former dairy farm in Somerset, where they planned and built a modern stately home of their dreams on Channel 4.
