The Bygone Collection is a range of PVC-u sash windows with such superb detailing that it is almost impossible to tell them apart from wooden sashes. The windows harmonise perfectly with their surroundings regardless of the age of the building. Now you can retain the charm and character of your home and recreate the look and feel of a true box sash – both inside and out.
The unique Bygone Collection of PVC-u sliding sash windows are unprecedented with their strong resemblance to their timber predecessors.
Sculptured ovolo sashes create soft lines and eliminate the harshness of normal PVC. The extra deep bottom rail gives an authentic look to the window.
Tilt restrictors are fitted as standard (subject to size). Every window has bespoke handles and a pole-eye to the top of the sash together with key locking cam catches.
Horns are available externally whilst the “real feel” surface mounted glazing bars recreate the small pane effect.
A third seal on the frame gives supreme quality and superior torso balances, guaranteed for 50,000 cycles offers the best possible performance.
Internally the additional decorative trim provides a fourth seal to the lower sash, giving the true feel of a box sash window whilst still allowing the sash to be tilted for easy cleaning.
Many double glazing companies do not offer PVC-u sash windows because of the extra care and accuracy the windows take to produce and install.
