Simply put, a Master Installer is an installation company that installs Bygone windows in a particular area, working to the high standard we expect of our customers.
Throughout any industry, there is evidence of good and bad practice. The much-maligned window industry is no different and can often be something of a minefield to the unsuspecting consumer.
The Bygone Collection is a premium sash window range and due to the intricate workings of a sliding sash, can be irreparably damaged if installed to a poor standard.
To protect us, our products and our valuable customers, we only allow Bygone windows to be fitted by registered and approved local installers, known as ‘Master Installers’ to ensure your windows are installed correctly, efficiently and cleanly.
Bygone Master Installers are carefully selected, amongst other things, for their superior product knowledge, excellent workmanship and strength of character.
For these reasons, our customers can expect not only a great installation but an excellent level of service.
We feel our products meet the needs of a particular consumer looking for beautiful timber aesthetics, quality workmanship and the peace of mind that comes with purchasing a quality product.
Bygone customers should feel that the quality of the product is directly reflected, not only in the quality of the work but in the service they receive as well.
We expect our Partners to work with our customers to find the solution that meets their expectations and aesthetic requirements, whilst also advising on what might look best and any local design trends.
Master Installers are trained in our particular products and preferred installation techniques and are expected to provide a no-obligation, pressure-free consultation with an accurate surveying service.
Fitters are expected to work efficiently and cleanly, finishing your windows to a high standard, sympathetic to your home and leaving it in a clean and tidy condition.
Master Installers are vetted for suitability to The Bygone Network and many things are considered, from their facilities and installations, to reviews and financial position.
Most of our Master Installers have been working with us for years, through several different incarnations of the Bygone product and in some cases, have been with us since before the inception of The Bygone Collection.
To become a Master Installer, we initially look at the company as a whole, how long they have been trading, their financial position and local reputation.
A company is deemed suitable if they comply with the above criteria and we then look at inviting them on to the network and arrange for technical training, product training and installation training for the various members of staff throughout the company.
Our partners are a direct reflection of The Bygone Collection and us as a manufacturer, so we take the application process very seriously indeed.
