Established 20 years from a passion for design and renovation.

Mark Jephcott is an experienced designer and space planner and in the early 2000s had started to follow his passion and renovate properties. In 2006 he was embarking on his latest and largest project to date, a full renovation of a terraced house in Harborne which required him to replace the old sash windows. Wanting to be sympathetic to the architecture and period features, his goal was to replace them with something that both retained these qualities whilst also offering far greater energy efficiency and security. The only problem? Nobody offered such a thing locally.

“Eventually I managed to find and order some directly from a manufacturer which was miles away. They were great, but they took me so long to find and I had to fit them myself! It got me thinking, surely I cannot be the only one? I’m in the renovation industry and finding it difficult, just how hard is it for everyone else?”

And so on the 24th of January 2007, The Harborne Sash Window Company was born to serve the local community and beyond.

Since our inception we have grown considerably year on year and now offer an expansive range of windows and doors in all different materials, carefully selected to suit your home.

Starting off in a “small cupboard”, the company is now based at a recently renovated property that for the first time houses our showroom, offices and warehouse, all in just the one location.

After 10 successful years establishing ourselves as one of the West Midlands’ premier window and door installers the next step for us was to open our second showroom, and we quickly settled on the town of Leamington Spa. Renowned for its Georgian architecture and ideally located to reach the wider communities in Warwickshire, Leamington Spa stood out as the ideal location for our plans and on the 20th of October 2018, we threw our doors open.

To this day, The Harborne Sash Window Company is still owned and run by Mark Jephcott, supported by his brother Richard and sister Sonia, it is a true family business. Mark’s passion, experience and expertise are not only shared by his family but also ingrained into the team here today which ensures that you will receive our best attention and advice at all times. Our dedicated handpicked fitting teams are not just installers but highly skilled carpenters and joiners in their own right and have vast amounts of experience.
