NOTHING STOPS A MACMILLAN EVENT AT MASTERFRAME

This year, with all the new social distancing rules, it was not possible for the team at Masterframe to hold their regular Macmillan Coffee Morning. In the past it was a real social event with a Star Baker competition and many other raffles and games to raise money. 25 th September was the date set by Macmillan for the coffee event but it was well documented that Macmillan would be happy for any support at any time, given the current circumstances.

Carol Slade, Managing Director for Masterframe said “We were determined not to miss out on an opportunity to raise money for Macmillan but we realised that our event could not follow the same format. We decided to kick off our fundraising efforts by purchasing some really beautiful cupcakes from Karen’s Cakes for all our colleagues to enjoy. As usual the cupcakes were an absolute hit and the team gave generously in spite of not being able to enjoy the social aspect.”

Carol continues “We have decided that we will now continue to raise more funds for Macmillan by having other events throughout the year and into next year and we will also be inviting our customers and suppliers to join us in support this great charity.“
