Whatever your personality or style, this can be reflected in your choice of colour and finish for your new sash windows.  The interior decoration that you have lovingly put together can be mirrored on the outside to achieve the external appearance and character that is just right for the architectural design of your property.

Our standard profiles come in a range of colours from Cream to Claret and these are available in either a wood foil or gloss finish.  If we do not have the colour that you require as a standard profile colour then we can expertly colour match any RAL, Farrow & Ball or Dulux colour and spray the profile accordingly.

Along with all the other unique features that our Bygone windows offer, wood foiling adds the final authentic aesthetic to the windows, emulating the original timber woodgrain and providing the perfect finish for a timber alternative window.

 

Because of this authentic, heritage style finish, this treatment is often ideal for use in conservation areas where it is favourably received by Conservation Officers and Planners.

Wood foil is also a durable solution and suitable for withstanding the elements for many years without the need for maintenance.  A simple clean with warm soapy water is all that is required to keep window frames looking their best.

It might be that you would like white wood foil externally and a rich Rosewood, Mahogany or Irish oak wood foil finish internally and it will be our pleasure to supply this for you.  Even though we refer to this process as ‘Dual Foil’ it is possible to have a gloss finish externally and a wood foil finish internally or vice versa.

With the use of these foils, it is a challenge to ensure that when a window has wooden foil inside and white wood foil on the outside that from each view the entire window appears the same colour.   This entails a specialised spray procedure to ensure continuity and is just an extra bit of attention to detail and tender loving care that you might not find elsewhere.
